Department of Public Works “FORAY” show opening.

The Department of Public Works is a collective of artists from Hawaii dedicated to push the boundaries of both the Hawaii art scene and also the collective limits on each other.  Their latest creation is FORAY, a collaborative art show featuring works from Evil Genius, Raul Soria, Kevin Blanchard, and Jared Yamanuha.  Featuring photography, illustrations, and typography, the combined message is the groups foray into new ideas.

The opening for this show happens this Sunday, May 16th, at the Contemporary Museum’s Cafe Gallery, from 2-330pm.  This show is short, so definitely be prompt for this one.  Light pupus, iced tea, and homemade sangria will be served at the opening.  Admission is free.
