One of the more sought after shirts in the past year or so has been this RVCA x Aloha Army collabo, with artwork done up by George Thompson aka EWOK.
The art features the collabo RVCALOHA logo, the Hawaiian Islands, and a 50 in a plumeria flower bloom. All traditional signs of Aloha and all properly done up by EWOK.
This shirt, once impossible to find, has now landed in the Aloha Army online store. So, go get one of the limited 150 shirts available.
RVCA, Blue Hawaii Surf and artist Ben Horton have released a special edition shirt based off the theme “Not Everyone Is On Vacation.” The theme is based off of the idea of “The Paradise Tax” where you have to pay and work hard to live here.
This shirt is available only at Blue Hawaii Surf’s Ala Moana location. Quantities are limited, so go get it while you can.
RVCA has teamed up with Aloha Army to produce this limited edition shirt.
Done up by RVCA Artist Network Program member George Thompson aka EWOK, this shirt features everything you would expect a Hawaii shirt to feature. The number 50, the Hawaiian Islands, the word ALOHA, all in the context of the RVCA aesthetic.
This one is limited to only 150, so go get yours at ALOHA ARMY now.
Dirty Hands: The Art and Crimes of David Choe is one of the headlining films at this year’s Louis Vuitton Hawaii International FIlm Festival. The film, which covers David’s life, times, influences, style, imprisonment, and eventual resurgence is an amazing film that all art-types should catch.
The film is showing tonight at 9PM and Wednesday night at 7PM. Both shows will be at the Regal Dole Cannery 18. Be sure to catch one of those showings.
On Tuesday, be sure to catch a special meet and greet with David and the RVCA crew at Blue Hawaii Surf’s Kalihi showroom. The event is from 6PM-9PM. It’s free and open to the public, so swing by and say “Aloha” to David.
