NEW! Leilow Saturday Release shirts

Jules and the crew from Leilow is dropping another two designs for your pre-Turkey Day ambitions.  You best be jumping on these two pieces early, because come next week, these will start to get pretty rare and you know you’ll be kicking yourself knowing you had a shot at these.

Can’t really go wrong with the basic Leilow design, as it screams tiki urban cool.  Like all good designs, this one holds up against any pattern, any color and any medium.  It’s essential gear for the essentially fashionable hipster in you.

The second design just speaks to the irony that is prevalent in streetwear today.  Two guns positioned in the peace sign formation.  Very urban cool for the urban chic.

All four of these pieces will be available this morning, starting at 11AM at Leilow’s Makaloa locations, next to Kicks/HI.

NEW! Leilow November Saturday Release 02

This Saturday marks the second week of Leilow’s new Fall shirt release on Saturdays.

As you might remember from alst week, the shirts were pretty banging.  Well, Jules and the crew is back with round 2, this time with a very ill Diamond Head piece and the “Taboo Leilow” piece that speaks to the ongoing tiki theme of the Leilow clan.

All three shirts will be available for purchase starting this Saturday at the Leilow flagship shop on Makaloa St., next to Kicks/HI.

NEW! Leilow Purple New Era

It’s Sunday Afternoon and it’s time to play a little catch-up.

Jules and the Leilow crew just released this beauty a little while ago.  Purple is one of the colors you want to use as an accent in the upcoming Fall season, and there’s nothing better to accent your outfit than a fit upon your dome.  And you can’t get much better than this faux leather Leilow piece.

NEW! Leilow Purple Tiki Shirt

In addition to the Silver Edition shirts released yesterday, the Leilow crew has also released this beauty.  Featuring tiki masks, this shirt definitely hearkens to Leilow’s always awesome tropical fantasy of urban streetwear and kitschy 70s tropical decor.

You know you want your hands on it, but… this shirt is only available at Leilow Hawaii on Makaloa St.

NEW! Leilow Silver Editions

Jules and the Leilow crew are releasing two shirts today under the “Silver Editions” label.

The first shirt is a re-up of an earlier design they did featuring the musical notes for Sade’s “No Ordinary Love” in a circular pattern.  The second shirt is the collabo Leilow did with the Aloha Fixed crew.

Both shirts are black with special silver edition graphics.

They both drop today at LEILOW on Makaloa St. ONLY.  Nowhere else.

atypicalLIVING Covers… Leilow Grand Opening

atypicalLIVING went out and covered the first day in somehting that has been a long time coming. or years now, Jules Gayton ran one of the most influential streetwear boutiques in a side room of Kicks/HI’s Makaloa location.

Now, after a couple days of being down, Leilow returned with a vengeance in their very own location spot, just next door to Kicks/HI. The same amazing mix of old and new is there, including some new hits, such as Undefeated and OriginalFake.

The new spot is dope, to say the least. The same iconic Leilow gear is there… the boombox with horns, the Isaac Hayes Black Moses cover, the neon sign. All of it has made the trek across the way to the new Leilow.

NEW! Surf Line x Leilow x New Era

In addition to opening up a brand new store, Jules dropped a dope collabo hat to celebrate the occasion. The special thing about this hat is that it’s made from vinage inside out Hawaiian shirt fabric. The unique thing about the hat is that each hat is done it different fabric, so no two hats will be alike.

The hats come in two dope colorways, an ill blue and a fashionable tan/yellow. The hats are super limited, so be sure to get them while you still can.

LEILOW Re-Grand Opening This Tuesday

Makaloa just got a bit hotter.

Leilow has moved out of their current digs inside of Kicks/HI and has moved next door to their own spot on the Makaloa storefront.  They’ll still carry all the same brands, and even more.  This time, they’ll be in a much bigger location to work with.

The address for the new Leilow is 1532 Makaloa Street, Honolulu, HI.  The new phone number is 808.943.9111.

The new spot opens up this Tuesday at 11am sharp, so be there to celebrate with the Leilow crew.
