Win a Dunny Series 5 case from Prototype!

If you can’t make it out to Urbanz Toys Dunny release party tonight (work, school, other “commitments”) then you have another chance at Prototype.

For every dunny purchased tomorrow (9/4) at Prototype, you get a raffle ticket to win a case. A WHOLE UNOPENED SERIES 5 CASE.  You know you’re bound to get something good in that case, so this is huge.

The raffle will be held promptly at 8:30pm that night.  Winner must be present in order to win, if the holder of the winning ticket isn’t there, another ticket will be pulled.  So, make some plans to be at Prototype on Thursday night.

    Dunny Series 5 trading party

kidrobot will be dropping their latest series of the very adorable and very collectable Dunny vinyl lind box series this Thursday.

BUT! you can get a jump on everyone else by attending the special Dunny Series 5 release and trading party this Wednesday night at Urbanz Toys.  Urbanz Toys is an authorized kidrobot retai spot, so you cna rest assured there will be tons of toys available and also tons of fun.  The last time the atypicalLIVING crew invaded an Urbanz trading party, we were treated to free food and drink, tons of cool people hanging out in front and the fun of finding not one, but two Golden Tickets.

I can only expect to receive the same results this time around.

The trading party goes down this Wdnesday from 6-8pm at Urbanz Toys in Kaimuki, across the way from Mechahawaii.

For more information on the party, check out Urbanz Toys.

    Prototype 3rd Anniversary Party

The Prototype Operatives are celebrating three years of holding down Hawaii.  Yes, as odd as it may sound, it’s been three years since the boys sprung forth from the Windward side and began to inspire creativity all around the island.

And what creativity they’ve sprung, as the shops (both the old Windward Mall and the current Pearlridge locations) have played host to many art shows; countless number of blackbook battles; in-store appearances from numerous musical acts; and of course, the games of SKATE, held regularly at skateparks throughout the state.

Now, they’ll be celebrating that creativity at a special party this Saturday night at the Hawaiian Hut.  The party goes down at 9pm for the strictly 18+ crowd: 18 to stay, 21 to play.  The 18+ crowd has to drop $10 at the door, while the 21+ kids drop $5.  I suggest getting there early, since the first 100 get a special gift from kidrobot.

Congrats once again to the Prototype Operatives: Danny, Chris, Kevin, Cook, Kobes, and all the homies that claim the P.

    Dig Lifestyles 3 Year Anniversary

Come and join the fashionable masses this Thursday at next Door as they celebrate the third anniversary of Dig Lifestyles.  And celebrate they will, as the third anniversary show is featuring some very dope stuff

Headlining the show will be CASUAL from the almighty Hieroglyphics crew.  Also performing at the anniversary party will be the Prince of Hawaii Hip-Hop, Creed Chameleon.  And by Prince, I mean the next in line, not Prince like Erotic City and Raspberry Beret, yah know?

Also going down at the event will be a dope toy release, the ill East3 x kidrobot collabo piece that will ave the internets buzzing for weeks.  Get in line and make sure you get yours.

Finally, the Super Handsome Sound of Delve1der and the Nocturnal Sound Krew will fill the rest of the airspace before, during, and after the Casual and Creed performances.  So, you better bring some handsome gear and some handsome kicks to rock to the event and dance away the (non) silence.

The anniversary party goes down this Thursday at the weekly Illmatic: 90s Hip-Hop Tribute that goes down every last Thursday of the month at Next Door.  The party is 21+, so keep them kids home alone.

atypicalLIVING is happy to have been down with the Digs crew since day one, so it kinda makes us misty eyed to see people that we came up with blowing up.

For more info, check out Dig Lifestyles.
