    Raw to the Floor

Freelance Clothing and Dis-N-Dat present a special Sunday night jam for the b-boys to get their end of the week jam on.

Raw to the Floor will feature a 4 vs. 4 Bboy Battle, a 1 on 1 popping battle, a trick and combo battle and even a blackbook battle.  DJs Flip and Kutmaster Spaz will be holding it down on the wheels of steel for the evening.

The summertime affords for events like this to happen, so definitely make a conscious effort to check this one out.  This is a $10 flat fee to get in and, please, no cameras.

This all goes down this Sunday night at Waiau Elementary School in Pearl City. The doors open at 4:30pm. For more info, check out http://www.freelanceclothingworldwide.com/

    APEX 2010

Freelance Clothing, in association with Mighty 4, presents APEX 2010, a Hip-Hop event to set the tone for the rest of Summer 2010. Featuring a bboy battle judged by Paulskee, Infinite, Skillroy, and Remedee, and all style competition (and those are always fun), an emcee battle, and live art, this is sure to be a winner of an event.  The winners of the battles not only get a cash prize, but also get their crew shirts done up properly by the Freelance Clothing crew.

Speaking of winners, there’s also going to be a silent auction featuring artwork from East3, B-03, Eukarezt, Shaun Castro, Pancho Abalos, and Janel Natividad.  All proceeds go to the Mighty 4 Foundation in Hawaii.

Throw into the mix that the ladies get hooked up with free makeovers, Mighty 4’s own DJ UNE rocking the beats all night, and special musical performances by Ill HIll Society, Jason Tom, Bless, Creed Chameleon, and the host of the event Mox?

Yeah, you know if you have to go to this one.

This all goes down this Saturday at Fresh Cafe on Queen St.  Event starts at 430pm and is open to all ages.  This event will fill up, so make sure you get your presale tickets at Sera’s Surf and Shore at Ala Moana, Limited Addiction in Kalihi, iKandy in Pearlridge, and Ecosystems in Waikele. Each $10 presale ticket comes with a limited-edition t-shirt.
