    Fashionista’s Market at Hawaii Woman Expo 


    Check out your favorite Fashionista’s this weekend at the 7th Annual Hawaii Woman Expo at the Blaisdell Center.

    The Fashionista’s Market crew will be there rockin’ clothes you didn’t even know you wanted and for prices that you’d never expect. All Fashionista’s Market inventory will be going for 20-50% off.

    They’ll be located in booths 3 and 10 and will be there all three days: Friday from 5pm-10pm; Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm.

    Admission into the Expo is $3 and free for kids 7 and under.

    The NEW! Fashionista’s Market Store 


    Yes, you read that right. Fashioista’s Market, the traveling bazaar full of hard to find clothes and amazing deals, will be opening a retail location in the heart of Chinatown.

    This location is so new, they haven’t finished renovating yet, BUT! they’re down to let their loyal patrons bless the spot before the paint goes on.

    They’ll be rolling deep in discounts, between 20-50% off of the entire inventory.

    Join them today, First Friday, starting at 3pm all the way until 10pm. If you miss out on today’s shopping and party event, they’ll be open tomorrow from 10am-5pm.

    The Fashionista’s Market is located at 1183 Bethel Street, next to Q Laser Center.

    Fashionista’s Market “FRESH” This Saturday 


    This Saturday marks the biggest Fashionista’s Market to date.

    For those unfamiliar, Fashionista’s Market is something of a designer clothing and denim swap meet, where all of Hawaii’s top designers come together to offer their sample pieces and one of a kind articles of clothing to Hawaii’s clothing starved fashionistas.

    This edition of the market will features the usual Fashionista’s Market closet, like stuff from VOOM, Romeo & Juliet Couture, Christian Audiger. Along with that, there will be items from The Wedding Cafe, Allison Izu Denim, Ginger 13, Blaine Ashley, and many more.

    Along with this will be beauty makeovers from Ulupono Academy & Q Laser Center. Also, there will be food displays & a whole bunch more.

    This all goes down this Saturday at the Blaisdell Center Hawaii Suite from 11am-5pm. Tickets are $10 and are available that day at the Blaisdell box office, starting at 10am. Get there early, as the first 150 people through the doors get a special gift bag.

    A portion of the ticket sales will go to benefit The Women Speaking Out Foundation.

    Fashionista’s Market this Saturday 



    Everyone’s favorite Fashion get together, sample sale, and Swap Meet is back for another edition.  This one is dubbed the “Recessionista” sale, how cute.

    Explore fashion looks from brands like Tokidoki, Rock & Republic, Rich & Skinny, True Religion, Christian Audigier, Ed Hardy and many more.  All of it 50-80% off retail prices, so make your way down ladies and be prepared to duke it out for some hot new fashions.

    Word on the street is there’s also a $5 rack involved, so you KNOW that’s gonna be prime battlegrounds.

    This month’s Fashionista’s Market takes place at the Japanese Cultural Center this Saturday from 9AM-2PM. $3 for FM Members, $7 general admission.

    Fashionista’s Market 


    This Saturday marks the First Fashionista’s Market of 2009.  For those that don’t know, Fashionista’s Market is basically the fashion swap meet for the chic and trendy women of Hawaii.  Designer samples, dresses, denim and tops are the norm at this event.

    Special for this Fashionista’s Market is a “SALVAGE” section of pieces direct from head Fashionista Alyssa Fung’s closet.

    Along with all the clothes, there is also Kai Vodka cocktails and many more fun fashion things going on.

    All this goes down this Saturday from 10am-4pm at the Luana Hills Country Club in Kailua. $3 for FM members/$7 for non-members, and a portion of the proceeds go to benefit the Aloha United Way.

    Fashionista’s Market Christmas Sale 

    Fashionista’s Market, the shopping event that those in the know only know about, will be holding their special Christmas Sale this Saturday and Sunday.  There’s tons of items available for $10, and there’s also a Summer Clearance sale, where things are being sold for 50%-60% off.  That’s amazingly insane.

    The sale goes down this Saturday and Sunday at the Honolulu Design Center.  Doors open at 9am and stay open until 3pm.  There’s gonna be tons of people there, so be prepared for the parking situation, which is free on the street, or you can valet inside the Design Center parking lot.  Plan accordingly and shop excellently.

    Green is the new Black 

    The Wedding Cafe and Divas Doing Good present Green is the new Black, a benefit for Kanu Hawaii.  This event features a fashion show, drink specials, pupus, live and silent auctions, and much more.  Plus, all attendees will receive a special swag bag filled with goodies from Hawaii’s top boutiques.

    In additions to awesome goods from Split Obsession, Allison Izu, Fashionista’s Market, Jessica’s Travelling Boutique, and the Wedding Cafe, there will also be a drawing for two roundtrip tickets to the West Coast, courtesy of Hawaiian Airlines.

    There will be tons of people expectd at this, so it’s best to get your tickets locked down right now.  Tickets are $25 presale at the Wedding Cafe and $30 at the door.

    Speaking of, the event goes down this Tuesday, with the doors opening at 5:30pm at the Waterfront (formerly Kapono’s).

    Fashionista’s Market Two-Day Event 


    Fashionista’s Market is going Prime Time with their first event of the year.

    Two days worth of fashion excitement is in store for all the fashionistas out there. Night one is subtitled Ultimate Girl’s Night Out. This night features the traditional Fashionista’s Market designer sample sale and boutique shopping (this time, featuring discounts of 50%-80% throughout the event).  The night gets better with Free Bacardi cocktails and Asti mini champagne splits all night long, as well as free hair blowouts, makeovers, nail art stations and massages.  There’s also independent clothing and jewelry designers as well as a live DJ keeping things moving.  Presale tickets for Ultimate Girls Nigh Out go for $25 & $35, while it’s going to cost you $30-$40 at the door.  This one is a strictly 21+ event, so you budding fashionistas are going to have to wait until the following morning.

    The following morning will be the traditional Fashionista’s Market shopping extravaganza, with the same killer 50-80% off all items.  This one is $10 at the door and open to fashionistas of all ages.

    The event is slated to feature merch from Tokidoki, Harajuku Lovers, Ed Hardy, Frankie B, Jully Kang, Frenzil, Drifter, Scrapbook & more.  Each day’s event will feature new merchandise, so check in both days to see what’s available.

    Both events will be going down at the Ala Moana Hotel Ballroom.  Friday night’s event runs from 6pm-10pm, while the Saturday soiree runs 9am-1pm.  A portion of the proceeds from both days will benefit Chicks with Checks.
