Tassho Pearce has been coming hard with his #AlohaFriday tracks and this past week’s was no exception. “Books” is a straight BANGER from the backpack era, featuring Tassho, Kwalified MC and Copywrite throwing down bars. Beast of a track that is just making the anticipation for HI.Story just that much higher.

This week’s edition of HipHop at the Trops features Copywrite. You might know Copywrite as that emcee that’s been having beef with Asher Roth. But, now he’s in town on bigger and better things, so check him out at Tropics Cafe this Saturday and at the Evidence show next week (more info on that later).
Joining Copywrite on stage will also be the Wing Men, Cultcha Shoc and much more. DJs Revise and Une got the party rocking all night and the Tropics Cafe vibe is always present.
This show is 18+ and $5 gets you through the door. Show starts at 10pm. For more info, check out the Got Rice Show online.
All the way live from Ohio, Hip-Hop at the Trops presents Copywrite.
Part of the MHz (MegaHertz) crew out of Columbus, Copywrite has worked with the likes of RJD2 and is a part of Cage’s supergroup, the Weathermen.
Recently, he’s been embroiled in a war of words with Asher Roth. Suffice to say, he’s been giving Asher the business. Finally glad someone called him out on a lot of pseudo-Eminem steez.
Alongside of Copywrite, the night also features Jackson Helmox (Mox and cru), Creed Chameleon, The Wing Men (Risup and Jonah The Whale), Fat Soul, and more.
DJs Cozy, Un, Revise, and Careless1 will be providing beats to keep the night moving.
There’s also open mic all night and the great food that Tropics is known for.
This all goes down this Friday night at Tropics Cafe at the Ward’s Farmers Market. Doors open at 9, music starts at 930, and it’s FREE all night to those 18+.
