Planet B-Boy in Hawaii – Limited Engagement

The movie will begin it’s run this Sunday and will continue until August 23rd.  For more info, and to get tickets and showtimes, check out the Planet B-Boy website.

Planet B-Boy at Academy of Arts

The rumblings are true: Planet B-Boy, the hit film that was brought to Hawaii at last year’s IIFF will be making a return to the islands, courtesy of the groundUP Pirates and the Academy of Arts.

The screening will go down this Friday night at the Academy Of Arts.  There will be an open b-boy floor, for those interested, and a DJ to keep things moving.  There’s also word that writer/producer/editor/local boy Benson Lee will also be in attendance that night, so be prepared to talk shop with the man.

All this goes down 6pm this Friday night at the Academy of Arts on South Beretania St.

For more info on the movie, check out Planet B-Boy online.
