Wet-Suit Maria Maguma Hawaii exclusive release at prototype

ESC-Toy LTD., 808 Orbit, and Prototype have teamed up for a new toy release from Erick Scarecrow. The Maguma colorway is a Hawaii exclusive that is limited to 50 pieces. Each figure is packaged in a blister pack, handsigned by the artists, and has a unique serial number that enters it into a drawing for an ULTRA RARE S.Maria Shiro all-white figure.

Alongside of the toy release, this event also features live painting from Remi Mead and serves as a launch event for this year’s Girl Fest.

This all goes down on tonight at 6:30pm at the Prototype Ala Moana location.

808 Orbit Launch Party

The newest toy forum on the Internet is officially hosting their launch party this Saturday night.

808 Orbit will be bringing the toy love to the Queen Liliuokalani Center on the campus of UH Manoa.

This launch party will also have an original canvas by Choni, a large screen BUZZ mega tournament and a potluck with dishes based on the number 8.  Yeah, I get it too.

This all goes down this Saturday night, starting at 6pm.

Big Ups to peeps starting their own thing for Hawaii.

The atypicalLIVING Fam Bam is always stoked to help out the Hawaii heads trying to get up in the world.  We’re big proponents of the art, music, culture, and fashion scenes here, so to see new movement is always a happy sight to see.

Case in Point: 808 Orbit

Hawaii has been sorely lacking in the Toy Forum game and there was a light of hope a while ago, but that has been found to be lacking & almost deserted at this point.

Now, thanks to those that made the other Toy Forum popular comes this new entity.  Completely community based, with the same ohana feeling from the other forum.  Hawaii has been making some noise in the toy game, especially with the Pocket Full of Monsters crew making moves.  Now, Hawaii heads have a home to check out the latest on the toy game.

From humble roots come mighty oaks.  And this forum has the making of something special.
