Releasing today, Fitted Hawaii is quickstriking a special jersey and hat combo, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the unification of the Hawaiian islands. The jersey features the name Puukohola on the front, the name of the heiau (temple) that gave Kamehameha the mana (power) to unify the islands. The back of the jersey says Paiea, which is the birth name of Kamehameha. The 91 signifies 1791, the year the heiau was completed.
The red/black color scheme of the hat and the jersey design hearken back to the glory days of Mike, Scottie, the Worm, and the Zen master in Chicago.
This is a limited edition set, collaborated on with Paiea Projects, as the jerseys are limited to 40 and the hats to 50. There WILL be a full size run (S-3XL) for the jerseys, so no one gets left out.
This all releases today at the Kona St. headquarters, so get yours before it gets got.
