lightsleepers Pop-Up shop Grand Opening

So, it’s been a few years (two, to be exact) since the last lightsleepers pop-up shop went down at Exclusive on Kapiolani. This year, they’ve stepped it up and will be holding down shop at Split Obsession Ala Moana.

Not only will they be providing the usual lightsleepers fare, but they’ll come correct with some exclusives ONLY for the pop-up: SIX new shirt colorways and designs, including the FIRST lightsleepers womens shirt. There will also be a limited edition pillow, a new “severed panda head” from angry woebots x Silent Stage, a TYO Toys x KATCH 1 toy truck (done up in the only way KATCH knows how…) and a new tote bag. Throw on some new stickers and buttons ad you have yourself the makings of your Christmas list killer.

The event itself will feature lightsleepers Vezzen, Observ, Olivertwist, and KTC holding down the DJ duties, alongside free drinks from Waialua Soda Works.

This FREE all ages event goes down this Saturday night from 5pm-9pm at Split Obsession Ala Moana, second floor, next to Neiman Marcus.

First Lady: The Movement launch party

Join the ladies of First Lady: The Movement for their first launch party + expo. Displaying all things for and by the ladies, this event will feature music, art, fashion, and everything creative from the ladies of Hawaii.

Check out new art stuff from Brooke Dombroski, Design Freedom by Janice Gaspar, Janel Natividad, IRATIK by Krystle Ganotisi, Lisa Miyagi, Katrina Menor, and a live art show by Remi Mead. Fashion from iKandy, Jessica’s Travelling Boutique, Knotty Kompany, Butik Hawaii, and House of Aria; jewelry from Jannice Lazo and her line The Proper Fit.

Live performances and music from Tiffany Ganotisi and DJ Betty, plus a lot more of other things going on.

This all goes down this Thursday at the Cupola Theatre at The Honolulu Design Center. Doors open at 6pm. $10 at the door or RSVP at the event’s Facebook to get in for free. Important reminders: this is a 21+ event and dress is semi-formal/casual-dressy.
