National Record Store Day
Today is National Record Store Day, so you should celebrate by hitting up two of the dopest record stores on the island: Stylus Honolulu and Hungry Ear.
Stylus Honolulu, the purveyor of recycled clothing and cool music, will be celebrating the day by offering free CDs, free food and drink, a two-for-one sale on all CDs and DVDs. Also, there’s a sale on all new and used records and 20% off all music accessories.
Another dope record shop to check out is Hungry Ear in Kailua. They’ve been holding it down in Kailua for almost 30 years now and will be dropping exclusive releases on both vinyl and CD. Which releases are they getting? Well, drop by the shop and find out.
This goes down all day today, so swing by and check out both spots, if you can. Stylus Honolulu is located in the University Square complex, on the corner of King and University, on the 3rd floor. Hungry Ear is located at 418 Ku’ulei Road in Kailua.

Thanks for blogging us. Record Store Day 2010 was one of Hungry Ear’s biggest days ever, thanks in big part to social media sites like yours! BTW if you have a chance, stop by, we still have a number of exclusive RSD titles still available. Thanks again.
