Hawaii Food Bank 21st Annual Food Drive and Bake Sale

This Saturday marks two great events for the Hawaii Food Bank.  First up is the 1st Annual Bake for Hunger Bake Sale at the Bishop Museum.  This bake sale will feature baked goodies from throughout the island.  Proceeds from the event go to benefit children who otherwise would go hungry without the help and support of the community.

Also going on is the 21st Annual Food Drive. This is the Food Bank’s largest fundraiser for canned goods and monetary donations.  People will be lined up with nets receiving your donations at various locations throughout the island:

Koko Marina Center; Town Center of Mililani; McCully Shopping Center; Pearl Highlands Shopping Center; Pearl City Shopping Center; Windward City Shopping Center; Waiokeola Congregational Church, Kahala.

The Hawaii Food Bank is the charity of choice for atypicalLIVING, so we would definitely appreciate it if you give either some canned goods or some money to help support the Food Bank.  Everyone deserves a good meal, and we strongly believe in that.  So, if you enjoy the content and coverage we provide here on atypicalLIVING, consider showing your support for the site by showing your support to our favorite charity.

The Bake for Hunger event goes from 9am-2pm at the Bishop Museum.

The Food Drive goes from 8am-4pm at the locations listed above.
