    New Year’s Eve in Waikiki

Looking for somewhere to celebrate New Year’s? Without blowing up your hands or without putting a hole in the asphalt in front of your house?

Well, the state will be throwing up some fireworks five minutes to midnight at Waikiki Beach. So, find a comfy spot on the beach (if you want to brave the crowds on Kalakaua Ave.) and look up. For added effect, grab a radio and tune in to KCCN FM 100 for the musical simulcast.

So, whether you’re spending it at home, at a friend’s house, a random parking lot, or at the Sheraton with the Village People and Ashanti, make sure you have a safe and fun time this New Year’s Eve.

    NEW! Fitted Hawaii Sticker Sheet

As kind of their form of a year-end wrap up, Fitted Hawaii is releasing a sticker sheet full of designs that highlighted a year of releases.

You’ll find crests of different shapes and size, a Home Grown logo, tri-locks (of course), and a few other designs that didn’t make it on to shirts.  All laid out in black, white, grey, and teal.

These are available now at the Kona St. headquarters.

NEW! Fitted Hawaii “Legacy” shirt & UH Custom

Fitted Hawaii is looking to end this year off with some fireworks.  And they begin popping off tomorrow.

First up is a sick new UH fitted featuring two purple front panels and four black panels, a tonal purple UH logo, and a white brim.  Super clean and perfect for the upcoming Spring ’10 season.  Gotta get those pastels up now.

Speaking of, the second part of the release is a sea-green number called “Legacy.”  The front chest of the shirt features the words “Out of Many, We Are One” in a triangular shape, with HAWAII written below that.  The pattern continues to the back of the shirt, where the design is given the tri-locks treatment as a full screen back hit.

Both these pieces will be available starting TODAY at Fitted Hawaii’s Kona St. location.

NEW! Fitted Hawaii x BLVCK SCVLE

Fitted Hawaii is coming correct with a new collaboration with Black Scale called “Greed.”

Focusing on the darker side of riches, this set proves that while money can’t buy happiness, it can buy a strong statement.  And this set is full of them.

First up is a white collabo shirt featuring the five heads of Hawaii’s big five corporations: Castle & Cooke, Alexander & Baldwin, C. Brewer & Co., Amfac, and Theo H. Davies & Co. These five corporations wielded tons of power, both economically and politically.  This makes them perfect fodder for this shirt.  Alongside the heads are the seven deadly sins.

The second shirt featured is an all over trilock print.  Black Scale has the exclusive on the red, while Fitted will have the white version in stock.

Lastly, there’s an all-black hat dropping, with the word GREED embroidered on the front.  Both GREED and the Fitted crest are done up in red, with a Black Scale piece under the crest.  The inside of the hat features trilocks on a red and white satin lining and a red sweatband.

All three of these pieces drop Saturday at the Kona St. headquarters, so get on it while you can.

NEW! FItted Hawaii “One Nation” Pack

Coming out with some heat today is the always venerable Fitted Hawaii.

As a shout out for this Christmas season, the Fitted Ohana sends a special shout  out to our brave men and women of our Armed Services, specifically the Navy.

To commemorate, they’re releasing three pieces based around the Naval theme.  First up is a brand new Kamehameha entitled “U.S.S. Kamehameha.” It’s a navy blue hat, laced out with a gold logo, rope and leaves, befitting of a high ranking Naval Officer.

The hoodie is is entitled “Fox One” and is a grey piece with 49 blue stars and one gold star (representing Hawaii.)  The last piece of the set is a new shirt called “Intercept” featuring a radar graphic surrounded by gold leaves.  The radar is centered on Hawaii and the islands are printed in blue.

All three will be releasing tomorrow, just in time for your gift giving needs.  Look for them at the Kona St. headquarters.

Seriously, FITTED, do you have anything else back there?

Alongside the much anticipated KAHOLO shoe release this Saturday, the Fitted Ohana will be dropping a new shirt and New Era.  The shirt, called “Culture,” features traditional Hawaiian tattoo patterns on a charcoal heather grey shirt.

    NEW! Fitted Hawaii “Kaholo”

After months and months of speculation and teasers, the cat is finally out of the bag…

Fitted Hawaii has teamed up with Element to produce the first ever Fitted Hawaii shoe.

Named “Kaholo,” which means move fast or progress rapidly, the shoe is based off of Element team rider Darrell Stanton’s second pro model.  The big visual points on the shoe include the sublimated canvas upper featuring vintage Hawaiian pin-up girls, the embossed leather heel, and the white vulcanized sole.  The shoe also comes with three sets of laces: yellow trilocks, white, and black.  All three lace sets feature Fitted Hawaii tips.

This one releases THIS SATURDAY, December 19th.  Be prepared to battle it out, because there’s only 60 pairs available, so definitely move or get swept away.

For more info on this one, check out http://www.fittedhawaii.com
