NEW! Product (RED) x Converse x Ian Ginoza

So, if you recall about a couple of years ago, the Kicks/HI crew teamed up with famed Aloha Shirt maker Sig Zane for a collaboration Chuck Taylor that was made specifically for Product (RED).

Flash forward to 2009 and Product (RED) and Converse teamed up for the Hund(RED) Artist Program where the company teamed up and collaborated with 100 artists for shoe projects for Product (RED). Ian Ginoza, co-founder of Kicks/HI, was invited to be a part of this project.

    This is his contribution.

It’s a white, 3-velcro strapped Jack Purcell. The shoe is covered in a gorgeous white epi leather upper with red highlights throughout. The inspiration behind this shoe is white blood cells, which are the agents in the body that fight off infectious diseases.

There were only 500 pairs created, with only 250 slated for release in the US. Kicks/HI has been blessed to sell these this Saturday, along with a special 20 pair drop on the Kicks/HI online shop.

The in-store selling of these shoes will be at the Makaloa location ONLY starting this Saturday. The online pairs will also be available Saturday, starting at 11am Hawaii time.

This shoe will also be available at Kicks/HI+GUAM and St. Alfred in Chicago.

For more info on this shoe and information on the release, check out Kicks/HI.
