NEW! Fitted Hawaii “El Sid” shirt and Kamehameha New Era

As part of their ongoing “Homegrown” series, the Fitted Ohana pays tribute to the ORIGINAL Hawaiian Hardball Hero.

Before Kurt Suzuki and Shane Victorino, before Benny Agbayani… there was EL SID.

Sid Fernandez was a lefty that graduated from Kaiser High and made it to the big leagues, pitching for the Dodgers, Astros, Phillies and Orioles. But, his claim to fame came as a member of the New York Mets.

Sid’s unconventional style and imposing stature made it difficult for batters to get a hold of one of his fastballs. His fame grew to the point that he made the #50 synonymous with Hawaiian baseball talent and made repping your home state with your jersey number an ongoing tradition (Benny rocked the 50 with the Mets, both Suzuki & Victorino both rock the 8 for 808).

So, to honor the Legend of El Sid, the Fitted Ohana is dropping this new shirt featuring Sid’s imposing stance. The left sleeve has the Fitted crown and crest. The right sleeve has the Hawaiian flag. Across the back is Sid’s legendary #50. All of it with a hint of the Mets blue and orange.

There’s a matching Kamehameha New Era as well, featuring the Mets colors with white pinstripes and green underbill.

You KNOW this is gonna sell out, so get in line as soon as you can.

This drops today at the Fitted headquarters on Kona Street, so go get it while you still can.
