Homebreak x Ali’i Kamehameha New Era from Fitted

    Another Saturday, another Fitted release.

This one is extra special because this is a collaboration with superstar surfer & Waimanalo’s own Kekoa Cazimero.

As part of a fundraiser for the Koa Tree Foundation, this set consists of a new shirt and Kamehameha Fitted, all in colors selected by Kekoa and photographer Zak Noyle.

The fitted is a black denim affair, with teal and pink stitching, a teal logo and underbill, white eyelets and pink button. The inside of the hat features a photo taken by Zak of murals found inside the bathrooms at Kekoa’s home beach, Sandy’s.

The shirt is a pink deal with the same graphic from inside the hat used as the graphic fill for the FITTED logo.

This is a limited edition affair and, like mentioned earlier, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Kekoa’s Koa Tree Foundation, which allows young surfers grants and scholarships to attend college in the mainland.

Also, the graphic will be used later on in the year for a pair of Hurley custom boardshorts.  So, you could get a whole fit going together from this set AND you get to help some very worthy young surfers get their education on.

This set is set to drop this Saturday at Fitted’s Kona Street headquarters.  Same rules apply, as always: first come, first served; park at Ala Moana; line up against the wall; come with the chill vibes, or don’t come at all.

    FC x TH

B00C35_fullsizeThis collabo is definitely FTW, as it takes two of the hottest companies right now – The Hundreds of LA/SF and Flying Coffin of Seattle/HI – and brings them together on a shirt for the first time.

Taking the DIY approach and indie mentality to this design, Jason selected the image of a split 7″ for the graphic.  This represents both the indie roots of the respective companies and the big role that music plays in the design, aesthetic, and message of both companies.

Also, much like a limited edition 7″, this one comes in three different colors: green, orange and purple.  The green and orange colorways are available exclusively at The Hundreds retail locations in LA (Rosewood) and SF (Post).

The purple version is only available at one place and that’s the Flying Coffin Store online.

For more, check out Flying Coffin.
