NEW! Fitted Hawaii “Kihei” hat/shirt release

WOW.

That’s all I can say, really, about this Saturday’s Fitted release.  This one has TONS of personal connection here, especially for everyone involved in the Islands.

First off, the hat: the hat is titled “Kihei.” And no, it’s not referring to the town on Maui, but Kihei is actually the name of the cape that the Na Ali’i rocked around their shoulders, signifying their importance.  This usually would consist of tapa cloth or feathers from certain birds.  Of course, more of the time, this would be in the traditional colors of Hawaiian Royalty: Purple and Gold.  Not coincidentally, m teams favorite colors are purple and gold.  I’ll let you figure that one out on your own.

Well, to celebrate the royal capes, the Fitted team did an amazing job with this latest release.  The black hat is actually made from a wool that you would normally associate with a peacoat.  On the hat itself is a new interpretation of the Kamehameha graphic in purple and gold.  The inside of the Fitted features a tonal black tri-locks pattern and the back features a black and yellow Fitted crest.

FIYAH.

The shirt is a shout out to statehood, and repping Hawaii as it should be repped.

The front pocket on this black shirt has a “50” logo on the chest and 50 stars taking up the entirety of the back. 49 of them are purple, the last one, #50, is gold, representing the gold standard that Hawaii lives up to and tries to achieve on a daily basis.

Needless to say, this set is OFFICIAL.

These beauties come out this Saturday at 11am sharp at the Fitted Hawaii location on Kona Street.  The same rules apply as always: first come, first served, line up against the wall, not the fence, if you’re gonna come early, please park at Ala Moana across the street and walk over.

Good luck on getting this set, this is almost too good to pass up.  I’m not even going to mention phone ordering because this set will go QUICKLY.

This one is a shout out to the coaches that pushed you along the way.  Whether it was basketball (my sport of choice), football, baseball, volleyball, swimming, etc., you always had that coach who would keep inspiring, pushing you, making you get that extra rep in, run that extra suicide or shoot 50 more free throws.  It might have sucked then, but you appreciate it now, as you dominate the opposition.

And why is it that every coach you know has this nylon shell piece? Whether it’s white, black, blue or red, the jacket is essentially the same.

NEW! Chunk and Ape “Pounds” shirt

Haven’t heard from Maui’s favorite sons in a while. But, here they are with a new shirt for the current season. Much like the ASD Fitted shirt from earlier this week, this shirt is meant to celebrate the recently passed “holiday” of sorts for some.

I’ll let you figure out that one there.

7th Annual Waikiki Spam Jam

Ignore the second pic… I’m just using it to prove a point about watching how you tag photos on the interwebs. Yeah.

Anyway, The 7th Annual Spam Jam is this Saturday in Waikiki.  All of Kalakaua Avenue will be shut down for this event, with two entertainment stages set up on the street.  Besides entertainment, there is also food booths featuring Hawaii’s top restaurants serving up Spam in new and unusual ways.  Also look for Spam swag and Hawaiian themed merchandise to be sold at the event as well.  FInally, look for booths run by volunteers that will collect Spam (and other canned goods) for the Hawaii Food Bank.

This all goers down this Saturday at 4pm in Waikiki and will keep going until 10pm. Admission is free and open to the public. For more info, check out the Spam Jam homepage.

Team Pacquiao shirts at Kicks/HI

This Saturday marks one more week until the biggest fight this year (so far).  The Pride of the Philippines, Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao takes on the Pride of England, Ricky ‘The Hitman” Hatton in an epic battle that everyone is looking forward to in Las Vegas.

I’m gonna echo the sentiments of Delve1der and state that Pacquiao might as well be from here with how much the Filipino community has embraced him.  Well, they’ll get a chance to embrace him even more this Saturday with the release of the Team Pacquiao shirt. Available in three colors, the shirt features the Team Pacquiao script on the front, accented with the MP logo and a gigantic bird on the back.  Pretty fresh and hopefully, this isn’t the end of the Pacquiao releases, right Delve?

These come out this Saturday at the Makaloa location ONLY. Makaloa opens at 11am, so get there to get yours.

NEW! Fitted Hawaii Tri-Lock Crewnecks

Another Saturday, another dope Fitted release.

The Fitted crew is always looking to keep you guys warm, especially since winter decided it was done with it’s 15 minute break and return with some cold vengeance.

So, with that in mind, the Fitted Ohana is releasing some pullovers with the world famous tri-lock pattern all over the front.  The white and black pullovers have the tri-locks in the front using clear-gel, much like the 4/20 ASD shirt.  A Fitted crown of clear-gel adorns the back. These look warm, even form the pics, but be warned: the white is in limited supply, so if you want one, make sure you find yourself at Fitted this Saturday.

Also coming out this Saturday is a new UH Fitted, holding it down for our successful UH baseball team and Coach Trap.  Grey front panels, black back panels, TEAL! bill and button, white eyelets and black UH logo. This one has primary colors to rock well with anything, and the TEAL! makes it pop with whatever you got.  These babies are also limited to a run of 30, so GO GET IT!
