SHIN Tanaka Mega-Post!

Everyone’s favorite paper toy maker has been busy with making moves in the toy world, taking his beloved paper creations to the world of 3D vinyl.

First up is a 15cm T-BOY Vinyl by One-Up.  Both have removable shirts & have ample options for customization.

Next up is an online show curated by Shin himself.  We Don’t Need Fake brings together 7 designers and paper-smiths for a online gallery show of sorts. To view the show, check out this website:

Clicking on the link takes you to the site, where you can download one of seven different paper toy templates, in kind of a blind box style random selection.  Sounds liek fun, really.

Finally, Shin has collaborated with artist David Horvath of Ugly Dolls fame for a special HOOPHY paper toy template. Click the pic to download the template.

So, big things going down for the homie Shin. Big ups to him and all his recent success with these collabos and the Scion project.

You can check out the rest of his toy collection at the Shin Tanaka website.
