in4m Skateshop opening on Monday

Let’s begin this story with a story.

In 2002, I was still a Journalism major at HPU and one of my assignments in my Marketing class was a profile on a local business.  After trying to find a local business that wanted to talk to me, I ended up at this small skate shop in Mililani.  That was the first time I met both Ryan and Todd and the first time I ever rolled into in4mation to see what’s good.

Seven years and two shops later, in4mation is killing the industry.

This Monday, they return to their roots with the grand opening of the in4mation boardshop.  This store will differ from the in4mation flagship store and Aloha Army in Waikiki.  This is strictly a skateshop, carrying brands that aren’t normally carried within the walls of the in4mation retail shops.  Brands that built the in4mation name, like Girl, Chocolate, Diamond Supply Co., Independent, Spitfire, and others join new brands and in4mation’s own Boardshop house brand to make up the selction in the store.

The shop is having it’s grand opening this Monday, January 12.  The shop is located on the second floor of the Ward Warehouse shops, next to Other Realms.  For more, check out in4mation.
