    Kicks/HI Storewide Summer Clearance Sale

Just when you thought the economy could get the best of the Kicks/HI crew… they break you off with this…

… that’s right, boys and girls, it’s a Summer CLEARANCE Sale.

The particulars read like a beautiful poem… 50-80% off of NIke, Nike SB, Vans, Converse, KICKS/HI, Bittersweet, Saint Alfred, Stussy, and more.  From all indications, this one could be similar to the infamous Black Friday Kicks/HI sales.  So, that could mean extra special savings for you and yours.

This sale goes down today (Saturday 10/25) at both Kicks/HI locations: Ward Center and Makaloa Street.

For more, check out the Kicks/HI crew online.

MechaHawaii 3rd Annual Customer Appreciation Night

Mechahawaii, the original Kaimuki toy shop, is having their 3rd Customer Appreciation Night.  There’s going to be a cosplay/costume contest.  Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

There’s also gonna be an anime trivia contest, fabulous giveaways and in-store specials, so there’s really little reason not to check out the shop on Saturday.

The event goes down this Saturday night at Mechahawaii in Kaimuki.  The festivities and the costume contest start at 5:30PM.

For more info, check out the MechaHawaii site.

NEW! Fitted Hawaii “Hano Hano” pack

Another Saturday, another Fitted Hawaii drop.

This week, it combines two of my favorite things: Elvis and Jay-Z.

So, the shirt features a shot of Elvis, being the man, with the island beauties surrounding him.  The bottom of the shirt has the line “I love girls, girls, girls, girls” paying an homage to Elvis and also to Jay-Z.

And if you don’t know… now you do.

The hat coming out for the set is a uniquely different piece.  This one uses a “dobby stripe” technique that is usually reserved for luxury bedspreads and sheets.  That would explain the stripes on the crown.  Hits of purple on the eyelets and the underbill and gold stitching on the accents and the logo.  The logo is surrounded by purple stroke.  The inside is a satin screen print with the old Hawaiian state seal.  This one gets the atypicalLIVING SUPER OFFICIAL seal, for sure.

As always, the same rules apply: first come, first served; phone orders taken after 12PM.

Also, this set will be available in limited numbers at 5 & A Dime in San Diego, Hall of Fame in LA, and Frank’s Chop Shop in New York.

For more info, check out Fitted Hawaii.
