Haunted Plantation 2008
The groundUP Pirates are back with another edition of the Haunted Plantation, Hawaii’s largest outdoor scare event.
This year, they’ll be spreading the scare for four nights: this weekend (24-26) and Halloween night (31st).
From what I’ve been hearing, this is the biggest production to date, so if you were lucky enough to get in to last year’s two night event, this one is looking to eclipse that.
The Haunted Plantation is at the Hawaii Plantation Village in Waipahu (94-695 Waipahu St., near the old Sugar Mill). Doors open at 7PM,but get there early to avoid standing in line. Last year, people were turned away at the door because the event was at capacity, so make sure you’re there early. I’ve also heard that there will be fast passes available if the line gets too hectic.
Admission is $7 for everyone 10+. Kids under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian. This is one Halloween event not to be missed.
