Pancho Abalos, one of Hawaii’s top artists, is introducing his latest project “Artist Proof Clothing” with this shirt.
The shirt, a collaborative effort between Pancho and Prolifik Projects display what is possible within the borders of Honolulu. The shirt, honestly, is bananas. Six-color print, exceptional fit and finish, high-end materials. This is THE shirt to get for the season. This shirt is an amazing effort behind two of the hottest entities in Hawaii streetwear.
The “dinokids” shirt debuted this past weekend at DunkXChange and was an instant hit. To go get yours, check out Pancho’s MySpace page.
Aloha Army on the come UP! Sonnn!
Well, these two beauties were found (hidden, mind you) on the in4mation blog.
The top shirt is a collabo joint between the Aloha Army and Transworld Surf. The “Home Sweet Hawaii” is on point, believe that.
The second shirt, which will definitely get you some stares, combines the two surf cliques of the Army and Da Hui.
Wear that NSFW shirt at your own risk, yo.
Anyway, these things are available… somewhere. Check out the Aloha Army for more details.
RVCA has teamed up with Aloha Army to produce this limited edition shirt.
Done up by RVCA Artist Network Program member George Thompson aka EWOK, this shirt features everything you would expect a Hawaii shirt to feature. The number 50, the Hawaiian Islands, the word ALOHA, all in the context of the RVCA aesthetic.
This one is limited to only 150, so go get yours at ALOHA ARMY now.
Oh Lordy, look at what just washed up to shore.
Yessir, it’s another dope Fitted Hawaii drop for everyone, just in time for the fall color change. It’s been no secret that the fashonistas on the scene are angling their efforts to more grown and sexy… but this one manages to combine that movement’s love for color with the easy of use found in most streetwear styles.
This one plays off of Fitted’s strength: the powerful graphic. This one, which features an illustration of an octopus, is one such shirt. This one is bold, strong, yet oddly pleasing. Also, the play on words with the phrase “Poke Squid” is CLASSIC for the local set.
Anyway, this shirt is available NOW at Fitted Hawaii’s flagship shop on Kona Street.

It’s Monday morning and it’s time for atypicalLIVING’s weekly Hawaii Winter Baseball coverage.
Well, there wasn’t too much going on this week in Hawaii Winter Baseball, as the weekend games at Les Murakami Stadium and Hans L’Orange Field were rained out. Not to worry, as the teams will be back at it again this week, trying to bring the momentum from an amazing World Series into the games of this season. I know a lot of the guys in the league are either Rays or Phillies farmhands, so there’s a lot of interest in the events going on in Philadelphia right now.
The updated standings:
As is customary, Monday is the off day for the league, with action resuming tomorrow. This week’s midweek series pits the CaneFires vs. the Honu and the BeachBoys vs. the Sharks. The midweek series take place at Hans L’Orange Field in Waipahu.
The weekend series has the Honu vs. the Sharks at Les Murakami Stadium and the BeachBoys vs the CaneFires at Hans L’Orange. Don’t forget to bring along a radio (or Hele Wireless-equipped laptop) with you as ESPN 1420 will be broadcasting play-by-play for the Honu/Sharks games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
This week’s special events are sponsored by Kraft, Pizza Hut, Sea Life Park, and Ben Franklin Crafts. It is Halloween Weekend, and both kids and adults get in for $1 if they come to the park dressed in costume. Also, Sea Life Park will be holding a special interactive dolphin swim with coaches from the Honu and the Sharks. Finally, Ben Franklin Crafts will be running their baseball card booth again at Les Murakami Stadium. It’s a great weekend for baseball this weekend, hopefully, the weather can cooperate.
That will do it for this week’s atypicalLIVING Hawaii Winter Baseball wrap-up. Join us every Monday for the HWB Weekly Wrap-Up, as we bring you the week that was in Hawaii Winter Baseball.
For more info, ticket sales, a full schedule of games, and HWB merchandise, check out the Hawaii Winter Baseball Website.
