This Friday night marks the second annual “Taste of the Arts” Festival. This event features Chef demonstrations, wine tasting from Chinatown’s dopest restaurants and music on three stages.
The chefs on display will include Dave Cruz of Indigo, Kamal Jemmari of Soul de Cuba, David Hoffman of Restaurant EPIC, and Scott Nelson of Brasserie Du Vin.
Wine tasting will be conducted by sommeliers Eric Chandler and Tiana Kahauwila, Du Vin.
Food will be provided by Bale, Cafe Joy, Brasserie Du Vin, EPIC, Indigo, Kevin’s Two Boots, Little Village, Soul de Cuba, and Tea at 1024. All restaurants lie withing two blocks of the venue and each restaurant’s culinary artist will feature fare that is unique to their restaurant.
Don’t forget about the music… three stages around the venue will feature hot jazz, silky smooth blues and the main stage, featuring the sounds of Inter Session, The Spacifics (featuring EMIRC) and Go Jimmy Go!
Nuuanu Avenue will be closed form Chaplain Street (in front of Mark’s Garage) to King Street and Hotel will be closed from Bethel to Smith. This provides plenty of crusing area for all the Friday night owls in Chinatown.
This all goes down this Friday night in Chinatown. The festivities start around 6pm-ish to 10pm.
