K-1 World GP in Hawaii 2008
K-1 is back in Hawaii, and this time, they’re not gonna be messing around.
This year’s World Grand Prix will feature a number of fighters from Hawaii, as well as some well known entities.
The real intriguing battle happens in the top half of the bracket, with last year’s champion and local favorite Mighty Mo having the real [possibility of taking on either fellow local favorite Cabbage or fight legend Butterbean.
Lofa’s loyalty lies with Mighty Mo and that Mo vs. Cabbage/Butterbean fight is gonna be epic.
Speaking of epic, the co-headlning fights are pretty epic themselves, with Hawaii’s own Scott Junk taking on Min Soo Kim and K-1 World Heavyweight Champion Badr Hari taking on Domagoj Ostojic. Badr Hari is a bad man, and just seeing him in action on Saturday would just be the icing on the cake for this event.
This is gonna be a night of epic battles, and, if last year’s Grand Prix was an indication, its gonna be an action packed night.
K-1 World GP in Hawaii 2008 goes down this Saturday night at the Stan Sheriff Center on the campus of the University of Hawaii. Doors open at 6pm.
