Honolulu Art Collective July 4th Art Show and Dance Party

Just because it’s July 4th doesn’t mean it also isn’t First Friday.

Join the Honolulu Art Collective for a July 4th First Friday art show at the Loft.  Make your way through Sunkyu Bakery and up the stairs to a venue full of pieces ranging from Lomography to plush figures to furniture.  Definitely something for everyone at the Loft.  And, to keep with the July 4th theme, there’s also going to be lemonade and hot dogs floating around, so be sure to snag one.

The featured artists for this month’s HAC are: Aaron Lee [mycryptonauts], Aaron Van Bokhoven, Adam Funari, Aly Ishikuni, Brandon Large, Calvin Collins, Chris ‘Hayashi’, Carolyn Mirante, Hanasaurus, Jeff Nesbit, Jeff Sanner [14.400], John Radke, Jen Tam, and Andrew Simms.

After the HAC show, stick around for Dance Fever, a dance party featuring DJ Jami from the Nocturnal Sound Krew and KTUH’s Davey Shindig killing your feet with some ill turntable action.

The Honolulu Art Collective is a free art show at the Loft (115 Hotel Street), upstairs from Sunkyu Bakery.  The art show runs from 4pm-9pm and is all ages.  Dance Fever starts shortly after that and runs until 2am.  There is a $5 cover charge and it is 21+, so the kids have to go home after the art show.
