NEW! Fitted Hawaii “Honolulu” shirt and 2 Custom MLB New Eras

It’s Tuesday, so another Fitted release is bound to happen.

This one looks especially ill, as the shirt/hats combination is definitely on point here.

First up, the hats… the crazy custom Mets joint with doeskin on the first two panels and a dark green and woodland camo print on the back four.  There’s cardinal red stitiching and detailing with the Mets logo done up in red and greenbay stroke surrunding it.

The Dogders New Era is equally as crazy, done up in black wool with an orange bill, teal underbill and button and a calypso green Dodgers logo.

The shirt is the big winner this round, as it features the city with the golden sound, Honolulu.  The colors found on the two caps are found on the shirt, which also features a very modernized “Honolulu” script and the always royal Fitted crown on the back.  The fill on the shirt gives the logos an 3-D type feel, so you know that this is one you wanna be seen out and about sporting.

As always, the same rules apply: first come, first served; phone orders after 12pm.

Blue Scholars at Next Door this Saturday

Jake and the genuineHI have one last surprise for the people of Hawaii: an epic final show at Next Door featuring Seattle’s finest, Blue Scholars.

They’ve been all over the place recently, riding the wave of success that followed the release of their “Bayani” album.  Geologic and Sabzi have been on the grind, oepning up shows for the likes of the GZA, Hieroglyphics and Q-Tip.

This past December, they held down the Pacific Northwest’s first local hip-hop showcase called “The Program.”  They headlined all five nights at Seattle’s Neumo’s and proved to the world that Seattle hip-hop was on the come up.

Now, to bridge Jake’s present to his future, the Kings of Seattle hip-hop will be in the building in Hawaii to bring the crown prince of Hawaii’s nightlife scene to the Pacific Northwest and Seattle.  But, this shouldn’t be mourned as the final event for genuineHI (for now).  This should be looked at as probably one of the doper shows you’ll experience this Summer.

Also on the bill will be The Soul Pacific, DJ Bumblebee and Kavet the Catalyst.  So, this will be a great time to get that quality time with Jake before the big move in mid-July.

The event goes down this Saturday night at Next Door, starting at 9pm.  21+ are welcome, so keep the kids at home.  Tickets are $20 presale and can be acquired via genuineHI.com or in person at exclusive.

To get you hyped for the show, check out this clip of Blue Scholars performing “Sagaba” at Bumbershoot 2006, opening for Kanye West.

See you guys Saturday at Next Door.
