    Ceschi/Nabahe/NMB/KTC at Higher Ground Coffee

Get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown living and take a trip into Central Oahu this Friday for a special all ages show at Higher Ground Coffee Shop in Wahiawa.

Headlining this special event will be TOCA and Anonymous Inc.’s own Ceschi Ramos and Hawaii’s most outspoken and decorated MC/producer/visual artist, Nabahe.  They’ll be bringing Hawaii a taste of what’s been going on during the Year of the Gift tour that Ceschi and Nabahe just completed with Matre, Factor, and Verble, among others.

Also on the docket are lightsleepers NoMasterBacks and Kavet The Catalyst, Black Square’s Josh 86, and Black Empty’s Mikey Yeda.

All this goes down this Friday night at Higher Ground Coffee, located at 101 N. Kamehameha Highway in Wahiawa.  Show starts at 8:30pm and keeps going until midnight.  $5 gets you in and it’s open to all ages.

Also, for those of you on the Big Island, Ceschi and Nabahe will also be throwing a show there on Thursday, May 29th at Emerald Orchid in HILO.  They’ll be rocking the spot with Brainstorming Weather, along with an emcee contest.

For more info on both shows, check out Fake Four Inc.

    atypicalLIVING Covers… A Bella Night

This edition of atypicalLIVING Covers… features flicks from “A Bella Night”at the O Lounge.  Now, this is a very special edition of atypicalLIVING Covers… because this was a fundraiser for 3-year-old Isabella, who is battling leukemia.

The event featured performances from the Perfect Median, DJ Liger, DJ Kutz, DJ Memoir(s), poetry by Too Easy, Riel, Dar’ron, and Fat Ulu Productions, live art from Ryan Greenly and RZone, and a fashion show.  Unfortunately, due to some scheduling conflicts, I wasn’t able to stick aorund for the fashion show, but I’m pretty sure it was impressive nonetheless.

You can check out all the flicks from A Bella Night on the atypicalFLICKR.

The entire atypicalLIVING crew is proud to be a part of this event and even happier that all proceeds went to Isabella and her family.
