This Thursday marks a special event, as the whole “scene” (or whatever you feel like calling it) gets together for one night of making a difference in a little girl’s life.
The event is called A Bella Night and it’s a special one-night-three-venue spectacular to raise funds to help little Isabella battle leukemia. The three venues are the Loft, rRed Elephant, and O Lounge.
The rRed Elephant will feature an indie rock line up consisting of Arkeo, (amitystreet), Solis Occasus, Friends of Adam, Detego, and Linus the Band.
The Loft will feature hard and heavy rock with the likes of The Malcognitas, Satellite Grey, Amberlin Rose, Aim For The Heart, Making Ends Meet and onesteplife.
atypicalLIVING (well, me at least) will be at the O Lounge covering the fashion, art and music extravaganza. Art will be provided by Shaun Castro, John, Amy Wagner, RZone, Ryan Greenly, Dunigan, Jerrell Conner, among others. Music will be provided by The Perfect Median, DJ Liger, DJ Memoirs, and Tolua. Poetry provided by Too Easy, Riel, Dar’ron, and Fat Ulu Productions. Finally, the fashion show will feature clothing from Andy South, Virgi*, Calista by Cotton Cargo, The Butik, Stylus Honolulu, and Prototype. Hair and Makeup done by JPS Dressers.
Finally, DISfunktion will be on hand selling their latest issue. $2 from every purchase goes to Isabella. 808SceneZine will be giving away CDs, and, as mentioned earlier, atypicalLIVING will be rocking the coverage for the evening.
Props to the O Lounge for throwing this event and Prolifik for making the event t-shirts.
Tickets are $16 at the door and all proceeds go to help Isabella fight leukemia. The event starts at 8pm and keeps it going until 1am. Be there to support the cause.
