The Cutlery “Aloha Print” shirt
The Cutlery, your favorite spot out in Hilo, is back with another dope design for the heads of Hawai’i Nei.
This shirt benefits from a little backstory from The Cutlery’s sharpest knife, Kuhao. Being the son of a famous Aloha shirt maker, he was always surrounded by aloha print. This led to a revolt of sorts and not wearing aloha print to major events and parties. His father would always get on his case to wear aloha print.
Well, now that The Cutlery is in the business of streetwear… he’s wearing aloha print now.
Completely flipped, in that streetwear sense, of course. The text states that Aloha Print is inside and reflects what’s in the person. So, instead of a witty retort and play on words, this is a shout out to every alohawear designer out there. From one generation to the other.
This shirt is gonna drop this (aloha) Friday at the Cutlery. Numbers are always limited, so if you want one, I suggest making it down to The Cutlery or hitting them up by phone (808.934.7500) or on their site at upinthecutlery.com
