Backpacks and Knapsacks

Hypersquad is presenting their 10th annual dance concert, titled “Backpacks and Knapsacks,” this Friday and Saturday at the Pearl City High School Auditorium.  This is no High School Musical.. these kids can definitely bring it.  Don’t miss this chance to see Hawaii’s best dance crew do what they do best.

There are three performances: Friday at 6:30pm, Saturday afternoon at 1pm, and Saturday night at 6:30pm.

Tickets are $13 presale/$15 at the door, so get your tickets soon.  From early indications… two of the three shows are close to being completely sold out, so hurry and get your tickets now.

lightsleepers in the Northwest

For all the Northwest heads out there (and I KNOW you guys read this… so start paying attention right about… now).

The lightsleepers crew is invading the Northwest territory with a show at Whitworth College’s HUB. The show will feature the lightsleepers own NoMasterBacks, along with the DJ stylings of Memoir(s), the beat manipulation of Sentr1c, the overall positivity of the chief lightsleeper, Kavet The Catalyst and a special performance from Spokane’s finest, Locke and DJ Parafyn.

This is going to be a true NoMasterBacks show, with all three members in one place at the same time since the album release party a while back. So, for all the Northwest heads, make plans for that road trip to Spokane this Saturday. The show is free and doors open at 8PM.
