NEW! UH New Eras from Fitted Hawaii

    IMG_4623

The mystery of those two extra hats on last week’s Fitted post have been solved. Thanks to the commenter and to some investigative work on the part of our readers, we found out that the hats in question will be releasing THIS Saturday.

So, here they are, Navy Blue and Scarlet Red. Same rules apply from last week: limited amounts of each New Era, first come first serve, store opens at 11am sharp, if there are any left, phone orders begin at noon. The hats are smokin, and should definitely be rocked to the next UH sponsored event. Props to the Fitted fam for all the love.

Detailed shots of each can be found below the break.

Enterprise presents: The Honolulu Art Collective

The Enterprise, those guys that take parties where no other party has gone before, will be pulling off yet another first: the first art show at The Loft.  The art show will feature works from the appropriately named Honolulu Art Collective.  Look for works from all your local favorites, such as: Angry Woebot, Jeff Sanner, Moedigs, Aaron Lee, Aaron Van Bokhoven, Sector Seven, Hayashi, Adam Funari, Christian Cooke, Calvin Collins, Miyadesu, Deeniri, Nimzi & more.

The event goes down this Friday night, First Friday, at the Loft (115 Hotel Street).  The art show is free and open to all ages.  It runs from 5pm-9pm.

For those that are 21+, stick around after the art show as the epicness of both POWER! and Temporary Lovers will be rocking the stage for you aural enjoyment.  In between the awesomeness, you get more awesomeness in the form of DJs Davey Shindig, Matt Ratt, Ross Jackson, and Douggie.

As if your First Friday wasn’t crazy enough, there’s more on your plate.  Remember, The Loft is still BYOB and BYOCOI (cup of ice), so plan accordingly.

    in4mation x Casio G-Shock

This one comes courtesy of Yoshi at Fatlace. She went to agenda to cover the event and became officially crowned as the newest in4mant. Besides covering the debauchery of Todd, Ryan, Jun, and Keith, she dropped a couple of nuggets, including this Tiffany blue in4 branded G-Shock. Those that know me know that I dork out over G-Shock watches and this is no exception. Price wasn’t given and, honestly, if you have to ask, you probably don’t want it bad enough.

Look for this and also a dope Etnies x Sal Barbier collabo (which was also covered in the article), to be popping out sometime this year.

For more about the latest endeavors of the in4mants, check out the in4mation website.

Flip The Bird x La Coka Nostra

The Flip The Bird crew kick off 2008 with an instant banger, teaming up with NYC’s finest, La Coka Nostra for a dope collabo shirt.  If you really think bout it, this is a definitely perfect match, as hip-hop is repped all over the place on this collabo.  Flip the Bird is run by Tassho Pearce aka EMIRC, one of Hawaii’s illest MCs.  La Coka Nostra is run by the collaborative force of Danny Boy and Everlast from the House of Pain and Ill Bill from Non Phixion.

So, you know this shirt is hella dope and ready to rock with whatever gear you throw at it.  Word on the street is only 200 of these were produced, so go get yours while you can.

Details shot and the black colorway can be found under the break.

    atypicalLIVING covers: s/o x woes

    AR000502

For the first atypicalLIVING covers… of 2008, we got a little help from Mr. John Hook: talented photographer, skater, artist, toy aficionado, and all around dope human being.  He was gracious enough to bless atypicalLIVING with shots from the split obsession x angry woebots show this past Saturday.  The turn out was tremendous, with people as far as France and Germany calling the store to buy up the Hawaii exclusives.  But, as is tradition with the s/o crew, Hawaii heads get first crack… and, if you slept on it, you missed out and some other lucky dude out there got yours.

So, check out the flicks, check out the hit up munny and the tech gadgets that woes went all over, including an iPhone.

Props to split obsession for a dope show, John Hook for the photos and to angry woebots for keeping Hawaii on their toes.
